Scent of a Woman is the most recent K-Drama that I am watching. At first I didn't want to watch it because of the plot but then I gave it a chance and I'm really hooked on it.
The synopsis is as so:
Lee Yeon-Jae is a 34 plain Jane, who works at a Travel Agency for an ungrateful boss. She saves every penny she has earned for herself and her mother, never taking a vacation or a sick day. After being assigned the difficult task of taking the well-known music artist Andy Wilson around Korea, she is accused of stealing his most precious item, a ring, and slapped in the face by the protagonist Im Se-Kyung.
She goes to a hospital for a check-up and meets an old schoolmate who happens to be a heartless doctor. He tells her that she has a severe type of cancer and has only 6 months to live. In shock she goes back to her job and her boss yells at her once more for being worthless, she then quits and decides to live as much as she can in the next 6 months.
Well that is it more or less in a nutshell, of course there are more main characters like the guy she likes and such but give this a try and find out for yourself.
